Crew Chief 2006
« on: Sunday February 12, 2006, 20:55:28 UTC »
Delighted to announce that we have secured the services of a very experienced Crew Chief for our 2006 display season.
C.C. B.Vissers has very kindly volunteered his services for technical support this year. Mr. Vissers has many years experience including  tours as Crew Chief for the Dutch Air force F-16 display during the 2001 and 2002 seasons.
We have already taken advisement and seen the benefits of his stewardship in recent weeks.
The team goes from strength to strength.

Fantastic news and glad you accepted!!  :D

Thankfully no Hydrazine on the DHC1, however plenty of Fuel, oil and grease kicking around! (Not to mention what we pick up at KK, still nasty stuff! :pukeright: )

We all now need to learn the Dutch for "Priming!" and "Sucking In!" just to make sure "Schakelt uit" means "Switches Off!"

Now what's Berry's official job title again? CCCC? C4? I'm sure, if we think real hard we can make that a C5, right?

Nah, cheers mate! Keep them flying  :D

Wish it was a C5 - then there would be room for all his camera equipment

Herbert, please correct me if I'm wrong, but do you not mean S5?

Chippy Monkey, time for another lottery ticket?  :)

Berry, I know exactly what you mean, but I'm wondering if our British friends get that one

But no, I was being friendly and really meant C5 (whatever you can make out of that . . . )

Cheers,
Herbert

Hi Berry, I didn't realise you were crew chief as well as everything else - busy man!  Does that mean you are the contact for a possible flight at Perth in May, or who do I contact?   When the weather is good, any chance I could get you to take a flying shot of the 1/6 Chipmunk at Barry Buddon?  Always a problem getting camera, plane, pilot and weather together at same time!  regards, Murray.
