First post here - found the forum through Key Publishing's forum, and have been a Chippy enthusiast for.... 12 years, ever since I had my first (and last!   ) flight in one!

Looking into going up for an experience flight, if I can convince the girlfriend to come along for one, too!

Well there is no time like the present to rectify that!

Just out of interest, where/when did you have your first Chippy flight?

Turnhouse, 1993, with the AEF there.  I think the pilot's name was "Flt. Lt. Steele" or something along those lines.

Had a look at your Spitfire replica site. If you are serious about building I think the MK26 is the most realistic and viable option. Will you be at Leuchars?

May be the most realistic, but it's a bit more expensive than I would like!!

Don't think I'll be at Leuchars this year, unfortuantely  :(
