Chipmunks in magazines
« on: Tuesday November 07, 2006, 22:25:35 UTC »
Chipmunks are staring in the PFA mag and December's "Todays Pilot".
I think some of my comments have seen some journalistic licence...and I did point out the original brakes are Dunlop but it seems to have been lost someware!

For future reference can someone explain to me how to insert a table from say excel, without all the tabbing going haywire, and also the tabbing in the post reply section being the same as in preview.
thanks in advance

The articles from PFA and Pilot set me hunting various other Chipmunk articles, of which I have or had at one stage, copies. This is not designed to be an exhaustive list but additional references would be welcomed at the risk of causing an avalanche. language indifferent

Coming to this thread some time after the last post!

Re the article in the Italian magazine, it was in Aviazione Sportiva. I flew Ricardo De Nardis in 'YG and he wrote it up for the magazine on his return home.

I've got scans of the article (in Italian!) that I could send you if you were interested in seeing it, or could upload them and post here.

Mike, I would appreciate a scan of the article , I will PM you my e-mail.  I also very much appreciated the narrative that went with the AEF photos on the YG site. I think these also should be preserved along with the photos. Are they still on the net ssomewhere.

The  12 AEF pictures are still on-line at...

Some of the thumbnails don't show but you can still click through to the larger pictures. I'll email you the magazine article now.
