Topic: Transit to RAF Leuchars, some pictures

Transit to RAF Leuchars on the 8th of September took exactly 1 hour, taking the Chippies, once again, from the west to the east of Scotland. They both start feeling at home in this neck of the woods.  

Declan decided to have a look at WP857:

Hope you like them. This was also the last of the blue skies we have seen. Friday was wet all day long and Saturday was completely overcast. Some display pictures in the next post.

As always, superb pictures Berry!  The shot of the statics on ASP 3 is brilliant, although the 56 jets seem to have left their mark on the concrete!

The shot of the back of Declan's head will bring back many memories of AEF trips for ex Air Cadets!

It's always nice to see the aircraft you are flying from the outside for a change!

There is 5 types of aircraft in that picture I've never flown in and 'only' 3 that I have! Don't think the F-4 Phantom will ever happen...
