VH-UEU in base coat

VH-UEU making progress towards completion once again as painting begins.  The White is a base coat and the final finish will be quite different.

And there's something about the landing gear that isn't quite right.

It certainaly has been a long row to hoe.  Painting of the fuselage should be completed by next week, and the wings should go on the week after.

I said it would look quite different when colour was applied.   It looks like a lot of red but again it will look different  with the white  tailplane, rudder and canopy fitted.  A bit hard to taxi with the present tail skid.

Are you basing it on this one? Sorry, it's not the best photo but the only one I have showing the wing upper-surfaces.

Yes, the colours are slightly different and the line altered to match the Lycoming cowl.
