RAF release dates
« on: Sunday May 16, 2010, 22:43:58 UTC »
I thought I found a list somewhere on the Internet listing each RAF chippie and the date it was released to civilian hands.   Does anyone have a link to a listing or a list they could email to me?

Thanks

I found the information I was looking for.    Here's the link:

It's a pity there isn't more activity on this site.

Hi Dave,

Looking at the members list there are a lot of folks looking but not doing a lot of posting on the site.  Is these fora rely on "audience participation" we do seem to get peaks and troughs of activity normally centred around events and interesting topics.

I wonder if the FLYER forum still sees a lot of Chipmunk activity, and whether there are other boards that are more active on the subject.

I have always been open to suggestions on how to improve the forum and tailor it to the requirements of the users.  Sadly, my inbox has not had any such suggestions for some time.  Perhaps it is time for a rethink as to where we go from here to serve the users better?

I have noticed recently that many people have been replying to Private Messages from other users on the site by just pressing the REPLY button on the email that has notified them of the PM, rather than accessing the PM itself.

By replying to the email notification, the intended recipient doesnt actually get the reply as it just goes to the generic forum email address that sent the notification.

I would urge all users to ensure that they log in to their Private Messages on the site to reply to messages and NOT to reply to the email notification.  I suspect this is where a lot of "trails have gone cold!"
