You need to upload you photo to a site such as http://imageshack.us/  or similar free hosting site ,then alter the size to no bigger than 800x600 or use their default forum resize.

copy and paste the code they give you, click on the second row far left icon on the reply page, which gives you this

paste the code between the two img's. you should get something like this, (It will start with URL, but if I put that in the line it wont show here because it tries to find the URL)
Where the dots are is the info unique to your photo, the important bit to copy is the bit between the two IMG's

Hope thats clear? !

I use photobuket.com  a similar image hosting site.

1) Join   its free.

2) Log in to Photobucket ,Upload your photographs by clicking on Upload.

3) Click on "upload from my computer", Browse and select from photographs stored on your computer. Upload. It will be stored and an be viewed  in your "Album".

To download from Photo buket into Caladonean Chipmunks posting.
Log into  Photobucket  Albums

4)To Select the photograph:-

5) clik on IMG/xxxx   (under the thumbnail of your photograph)and it should automatially "copy"the image file . The line will be highlighted yellow and a small tag "copied" should show up and the IMG code will be stored on your computer on a "Clipboard" in a similar manner to cut and paste in Mirosoft Word.

6) Paste into your Photobuket post from Clipboard by pressing Ctrl/V

7) You will only see the image code.  To view the  image, "Preview" posting

I guess this all sounds complicated but once you try it it beomes as simple as starting a fuel injected aero engine!

Unfortunately the letter "C" on my keyboard sometimes misses.  Read "photobucket.com"
