Hi Alan
I now own wb567 VH-JHN I would be very interested to learn more about the history of WB567!!
She as more than 15500 hrs to her name!!

From another forum I fund this.

"WB567 formally of No 12 AEF RAF Turnhouse, it always flew port wing 5 degrees low because of a construction fault! I flew in her on several occasions!"

Did she have this trait when you flew her!!

On 14 November 1971 at RAF Turnhouse, WB567 was the first powered aircraft that I ever flew on. I was a member of 1756 d/f (Broxburn) Sqn ATC and a mere 14 years old. I came across this forum while looking for images of the aircraft as I have an Airfix 72 scale model that I would like to build. Does anyone have any pics of 567 at that time.

Alan,

I now own WP804 here in the US. Could you contact me at dbotich@aeromods.com as I would like to get any history I can find on this Chipmunk prior to it coming to the US in 1975.

I can send you a current photo and it is still in the original RAF dayglo paint scheme.

Thanks,

David Botich
